JettCrew Privacy Policy
Last Updated: November 6, 2026
Effective Date: October 25, 2026
Beta notice: JettCrew is in closed beta. We will update this policy as features change.
JettCrew Inc. ("JettCrew," "we," "us," or "our") provides an AI workforce platform for builders, remodelers, trade and specialty contractors, and general contractors. Our AI teammate, Jett, works alongside a builder's team: it reads and updates records in the tools the builder already uses, and it sends and receives text messages with the builder, their team, and their vendors and clients.
This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information through our website at https://jettcrew.com (the "Site"), our applications and platform (the "Service"), and texts sent through the Service. It is part of our Terms of Service. The Service is offered only in the United States.
1. Our Two Roles
For our own customers and visitors, we decide how information is used. This covers people who visit the Site or join our waitlist, the builders who subscribe, their team members who use the Service, and people who contact us.
For information builders put into the Service, we act on the builder's behalf. When a builder connects their project management system, adds contacts, or has Jett text a vendor or client, we handle that information as the builder's service provider, on the builder's instructions. If you received a text from Jett, see Section 12.
We never use information builders put into the Service for advertising, never sell or share it, and never build profiles about anyone for our own purposes. Jett keeps job and conversation context only to do the work the builder asks for, and what it learns about one builder's business stays in that builder's account and is never used to serve another customer.
2. Information We Collect

| Jett activity | Instructions given to Jett, actions it proposed and took, approvals, and activity logs | Use of the Service |
What we do not collect. We do not request precise location, and we do not record calls. We store voice notes so they can be played back and, where the feature is available, transcribed, but we do not create voiceprints or use voice to identify anyone. Our Terms ask builders not to submit Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, health information, or information about children under 13, though a photo or file sent to Jett may occasionally contain such information.
Mobile app permissions
Our mobile apps ask for device permissions only when you use the related feature, and you can change them anytime in your device settings.
| Permission | Used for |
|---|---|
| Camera and photos | Taking and attaching jobsite photos and documents |
| Microphone | Recording voice notes and capturing job walkthroughs |
| Notifications | Alerts about messages, approvals, and job activity |
| Contacts | Choosing contacts to invite or add, only when you select them |
Our apps do not request location and do not include advertising or tracking software.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide the Service, including running Jett, sending and receiving texts, and syncing connected systems
- Register businesses as texting senders and manage phone numbers
- Bill for subscriptions and manage renewals and cancellations
- Support customers and fix problems
- Secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and monitor texting compliance
- Comply with law and carrier requirements, including keeping consent records
- Maintain and improve the Service, for example by reviewing conversations to fix problems, testing Jett against de-identified examples, and creating aggregated, de-identified insights across customers. This is not AI model training
- Send account and service notices, and optional marketing about JettCrew by email or, if you opt in on our Site, by text. You can opt out of marketing at any time
- Measure how people find our Site and whether our ads work
We do not sell personal information for money, use builder data or message content for advertising, or use any customer data to train AI models.
4. How Jett Uses AI
Jett works within limits the builder sets. Builders can require approval before actions, edit messages before they send, take over a conversation, and pause a capability. The Service is designed to hold certain actions for a person's decision, but these are safeguards, not guarantees, and we cannot promise that a person reviewed any particular message.
Jett identifies itself as an assistant and does not claim to be a person.
AI can make mistakes. Jett's output may be inaccurate or incomplete, even when it reads as confident. Builders are responsible for reviewing Jett's work, including its messages to clients, vendors, and team, and for correcting anything inaccurate.
No automated decisions about people. Jett coordinates work. It does not decide who gets credit, housing, insurance, a job, or any other outcome with legal or similarly significant effects.
We do not train AI models on your data. We do not use customer data, instructions, outputs, or messages to train or fine-tune any AI model. Reviewing conversations to fix problems, testing Jett against de-identified examples, and improving our instructions are how we improve the Service, and they are not training. We send data only to AI services whose terms, for the specific service and route we use, prohibit training on it, and those providers are bound by contract to protections equivalent to this policy, including the bans on training and advertising use. We specifically affirm that data obtained through Google Workspace APIs and Microsoft Graph APIs is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.
To help Jett find relevant information, we create search indexes from your data, called embeddings, which are stored with your account and deleted with the data they came from. We do not currently have zero-data-retention arrangements, so an AI provider may keep data briefly under its own terms for abuse monitoring and legal compliance. Our AI providers are listed on our Subprocessors page.
5. Text Messaging
Four programs
| Jett texts | Support team texts | JettCrew Updates | A builder's vendor and client texting | |
|---|---|---|---|---|

| Who receives | Account holders and their team | Account holders and their team | People who opt in on our Site | The builder's vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients |
| What it's for | Your jobs and account. Never promotional | Onboarding and your account. Never promotional | Marketing: early access, beta and launch news, demos, and product updates | Job coordination. Never promotional |
| How you opt in | Texting Hi to your Jett number, from the prompt in the app | An optional checkbox at signup or when accepting an invite | A texting checkbox on a form on our Site | Texting Jett first, from the builder's invite link |

| Terms page | Section 7.2 of our Terms of Service | Section 7.2 of our Terms of Service | Section 7.2 of our Terms of Service | A texting terms and privacy page in the builder's name |
Program names: JettCrew (Jett), JettCrew Support, and JettCrew Updates. Jett texts cover your jobs and account. Support team texts cover onboarding and your account. JettCrew Updates is our only marketing program. Jett, support, and builder texting never include marketing, and marketing texts come only from JettCrew Updates, to people who opted in to it on our Site.
Consent. Each program has its own opt-in, and opting in to one never opts you in to another. Team members opt in to Jett texts by texting Hi to their company's Jett number from the mobile number on their profile, using the prompt in the app; Jett never texts them first. They opt in to support team texts with a separate, optional checkbox at signup or when accepting an invite. Site visitors opt in to JettCrew Updates with a separate, optional checkbox. Vendors and clients opt in by texting Jett first, after the builder sends them an invite link from the builder's own phone. No program texts anyone who has not opted in to it. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of using the Service or buying anything.
Frequency and rates. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Stop and help. Reply STOP to opt out, START to resume, and HELP for help. Opt-outs take effect immediately, apply only to the program and business you opted out from, and last until you opt back in yourself. A business cannot re-subscribe you. For help, email info@jettcrew.com.
Not for emergencies. These numbers are not monitored for emergencies. In an emergency, call 911.
Your mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all sharing described in this policy and will not be sold or shared with any third parties. We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. Our messaging provider handles your phone number and messages only to deliver them.
Advertising tools never touch texting. The advertising tools described in Section 8 run only on our marketing Site, and they never receive phone numbers, opt-in data, or consent records. They never run on the opt-in or texting terms pages for builders' programs, and where a form on our Site collects a phone number or texting opt-in, we configure those tools so they cannot capture what you enter.
6. How We Share Information
- We do not sell personal information.
- Service providers. We share information with the providers that help us run the Service, under contracts limiting their use. They are listed on our Subprocessors page.
- Connected systems. We exchange data with the systems a builder chooses to connect, within the access the builder grants.
- Carriers and registries. Business registration details go to our messaging provider, the mobile carriers, and The Campaign Registry to register texting programs.
- Advertising partners, on our Site only. See Section 8. They never receive information from inside the Service.
- Legal and safety. When required by law or legal process, or to prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, or protect anyone's safety.
- Business transfers. In a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality. We will notify affected customers.
7. Connected Systems, Google, and Microsoft
Working copy. To work quickly, the Service keeps a working copy of data from connected systems. It refreshes on a schedule and in response to changes, so it is not a live mirror.
Changes and notifications. When Jett changes a record in a connected system, that system may send its own emails or notifications under the builder's settings. Those are sent by that system, not by us.
JettCrew's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs, including Google Workspace APIs, to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy and the Google Workspace API User Data and Developer Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What we access. We request only the access needed for the features a user turns on. Depending on those features, that may include Gmail messages and attachments, Calendar events, Drive files including Docs, Sheets, and Slides, contacts, and Google Meet transcripts. We do not access Google Meet recordings or in-meeting chat. What Jett does with it. At the user's direction, Jett reads this information, drafts and sends email, creates and updates calendar events, and creates, edits, and files documents into job folders. Jett is designed to get the user's approval, either individually or when setting up a routine, before changing the user's existing files or inbox or making calendar changes that notify other people. Jett does not permanently delete Drive files, and we log every change Jett makes in Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets.
How we keep it. Google data is held in the working copy only as long as needed to provide the features the user connected it for, protected as described in Section 10, and never used to build databases for any other purpose. Our AI providers may process Google data only to deliver those features, under terms that prohibit training on it.
What we do not do with Google data:
- We do not transfer it to others except to provide those features, for security, or to comply with law
- We do not use it for advertising and do not sell it
- We do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models
- We do not use it in insights shared across customers or in examples kept for testing
- Our staff do not read it, except with the user's specific consent to resolve an issue they reported, for security, to comply with law, or in aggregated and de-identified form
Revoking access. Users can revoke our access anytime in their Google account settings, which stops collection immediately. Google data we already hold, including search indexes built from it, is deleted within 30 days of revocation or account deletion, or sooner on request.
Microsoft
Where a user connects a Microsoft account, we access Outlook email and calendar, contacts, and files in OneDrive and SharePoint, only within the access they grant and only for the features they connected it for. We do not use Microsoft data for advertising or to train AI models. Users can revoke access anytime in their Microsoft account settings.
QuickBooks Online
Where a builder connects QuickBooks Online, Jett reads and creates accounting records such as invoices, bills, customers, and vendors, within the access granted. We do not use this data for advertising or to train AI models. Please do not send bank account numbers or payment credentials through the Service.
8. Cookies and Advertising
On our marketing Site only, we use necessary cookies to run the Site, Google Analytics to understand how people use it, and we may use Google Ads and the Meta pixel to measure advertising. We also count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify individual visitors. Several states treat giving online identifiers to advertising partners as "sharing" or "targeted advertising." We receive no money for it, but you can opt out either way:
- Use the Your Privacy Choices control in our Site footer
- Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we honor automatically
- Email info@jettcrew.com
Opting out does not affect your use of the Site or the Service. Our apps and the Service do not use advertising trackers.
9. How Long We Keep Information
| Information | How long |
|---|---|
| Account and customer data | While the account is active. After a subscription or trial ends, at least 90 days and usually longer so it can be reactivated, then it may be deleted. Deleted sooner on request |
| Connected system access | Disconnected within 30 days after a subscription or trial ends |
| Google data | Deleted within 30 days of revoking access or account deletion |
| Opt-out records | Kept as long as needed to keep honoring the opt-out, which may be indefinitely |
| Opt-in records | Kept while the texting relationship is active and as long as needed to show consent |
| AI prompts and quality traces | Kept on a rolling basis for troubleshooting, then deleted or de-identified |
| Search indexes (embeddings) | Deleted or rebuilt when the data they came from is deleted |
| Billing and tax records | As long as tax and accounting rules require |
| Advertising identifiers | As set by each tool, typically no more than 26 months |
| Backups | Deleted on a regular rotation |
| Aggregated, de-identified data | Indefinitely. We do not attempt to re-identify it |
Deletion. Account owners can ask us to permanently delete account data at any time, from within the Service or by emailing info@jettcrew.com. That covers conversations, messages, job records, documents, photos, routines, activity logs, and usage history. Opt-out records and records the law requires us to keep are retained.
10. Security
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- Each customer's data is isolated at the database level
- Staff access is limited to what is needed for support, fixing problems, security, and legal compliance, and is logged
- Administrative access requires multi-factor authentication
- We do not yet hold SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification. If that matters to your business, contact us before subscribing
No system is completely secure. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you without undue delay as the law requires.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your state, you may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we hold about you, and get a copy
- Correct inaccurate information
- Port your information, receiving it in a portable, machine-readable format
- Delete your information, subject to legal exceptions such as opt-out records
- Opt out of sharing and targeted advertising, as described in Section 8
- Not be treated differently for using these rights
How to ask. Email info@jettcrew.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject and tell us your state. We acknowledge California requests within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, which we may extend once by up to 45 more days with notice. We verify identity by confirming control of your email or phone, and we do not require verification for advertising or texting opt-outs. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.
Appeals. If we deny your request, reply with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject. If we deny the appeal, we will tell you how to contact your state attorney general.
Information a builder put into the Service. We will forward your request to that builder. See Section 12.
12. If You Received a Text from Jett
A builder you work with uses JettCrew to coordinate their jobs, and you opted in by texting Jett. That builder decides what information is used and why, and we handle it on their behalf. Their own texting terms and privacy page, linked from the opt-in page and from Jett's HELP reply, explains their program.
We use your information only to deliver that builder's texts, honor your opt-out, keep required records, and run the Service. We never sell it, share it with advertisers, use it for marketing, or use it to train AI.
- To stop texts, reply STOP. It takes effect immediately for that builder.
- To resume, reply START.
- For access, correction, or deletion, contact the builder directly, or email info@jettcrew.com and we will forward your request. We will not change a builder's records without their instruction unless the law requires it.
- Not sure who texted you? Email info@jettcrew.com with the number that texted you and we will tell you which business it is.
13. Children
The Service is for business use by adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. For material changes, we will update the date above and notify account holders by email or in the Service before the change takes effect. We typically review this policy at least annually.
